Location:
Located in a frontline position on a steep hillside over the sea. The southwestern orientation ensures sunshine all day long. Its siting in a tranquil community gives it the advantage of easy access to restaurants, supermarket and asphalted roads (important for rented vehicles!) etc. The whole community is surrounded by green, wooded hills. It’s the ideal spot to enjoy a relaxed stroll.. By driving in a northerly direction you can arrive at areas of unspoilt nature characterized by steep cliffs overgrown with the pine trees so typical of the island. And that’s not to mention the marvelous peacefulness.
Sta Ines, a small, attractive village to the north of Cala Salada, is just 3.5 kms away. It’s particularly popular in the spring due to the outstanding spectacle provided by the hundreds of almond trees in bloom which fill the wide valley. The village has two nice restaurants and not far away there is one more perched directly over the rugged coastline. It’s a great spot for hikes right along the coastline.
